Brand Resurrection

The pen brand "Le Boeuf" was resurrected in the mid 90's. The product was high quality, manufactured in Germany, but poor marketing meant the company didn't survive.

Initial offerings in 1995 included a Limited Edition "Greg Norman" fountain pen commemorating the success of this Australian golfer. The pen had a Laque cap bearing the golfer's signature, and surmounted by an Australian opal. The barrel has a quality gold plate finish, and the nib is two-tone 18ct gold.

We have acquired a number of Le Boeuf pens in Mint Unused condition and they are selling for a fraction of their original retail price.

Dear *****,

Another quarter year has passed and another site upgrade has just been posted. New items have been added in most categories including all Parker pages, with some particular bargains in 75's and modern Duofolds.

An undoubted star of the update is a Burgundy "Vac-Band" Vacumatic with a Flexible Nib.

Pen Shows

Our most recent show was Washington DC in August. It's not the best time to visit DC (hot and humid), but it's one of the best shows in the calendar. We will be at the Melbourne Pen Show in November, and our next International show is LA in February.

Ebay

We've just started another season of Ebay auctions. We're happy to accumulate and combine lots to reduce shipping costs.

Mabie in America by David Moak

This is David's third and final edition of Mabie in America; the first two were E-Books (groan). At last I can sit (slouch) in my favourite arm chair and absorb this mammoth work.

The fascinating story of the Mabie-related companies is related in astonishing detail, from John Mabie's entry into the work force through to the closing of the American company in 1941.

At 253 9" x 12" pages and over 750 illustrations, this book represents the most complete history of a single pen company in print.
