Dear Peter,

Updated pages with new stock have just been posted to the website. No new pages this time, and we have removed the Bargain Basement page, which was not as active as we had hoped. New stock includes some mint Sheaffer Grand Connaiseurs, Waterman Fontainbleaus and limited editions in both Mont Blanc and Pelikan.

Delivery is FREE to the New York & London Pen Shows; we leave in less than six days.

Pen Shows & The Perils of Flying

The Washington DC Show was a great show as usual. Definitely the biggest show of the year, Bob Johnson strikes again.

I lost an extra 30 hours on the way home when the Captain of my United 747 decided to shut down an engine overnight and put us down in Honolulu at daybreak. Many of the passengers seemed thrilled at the thought of a night's accommodation at United's expense. I wasn't that thrilled, but having been there for a week on the way to the LA this year, at least knew enough to ask for an "ocean view" room! Great view from the balcony, but it's an uncomfortably steamy season to be there.

We close on 3 September to travel to the New York Pen Show, then on to the London Pen Show (with a holiday in between). Back in Melbourne and open again on 6 October. Emails will be perused as time (and holiday) permit.
