Collectible Dip Pens
Jim Marshall of the Pen and Pencil Gallery in Cumbria (UK), well regarded and respected for his knowledge of writing equipment, has recently written and self- published a guide to Collectible Dip Pens. The book is illustrated with colour photographs and diagrams, and relative values are given.
Collectible Dip Pens is well researched and the most definitive book on this subject that we know of. It would be of value to dip pen collectors, but also a useful reference for all writing equipment aficionados.

Pen Shows
We have not long returned from overseas where we participated in two very different shows in London and San Francisco. We met up with many friends and customers, and were kept reasonably busy at both. Neither show is particularly large. The San Francisco Show has good potential, but needs more East Coast support.
I leave for the Columbus (Ohio) Show next Wednesday. By all accounts it's a great show, and it's only the hike (four planes and @#! Hours) that's stopped me going in the past.

I've learned that absent-minded people get lots of exercise looking for things they can't find!
