Books - Recommended Reading
We're often asked to recommend books on pens. There's an ever-widening choice, but under most circumstances, as a first choice, we recommend Andy Lambrou's "Fountain Pens of the World" as the starting point for collectors. It's big and it has plenty of colour illustrations to help identify those pens in your collection.
We now have a web page on books (Recommended Reading) with Amazon.com purchasing links. You'll find Andy's book there together with a number of others that we can thoroughly recommend.

It's Summer here again, the sun is shining, and we've spent the last week trying to add to, update and rationalise the website as well as prepare auctions to run on eBay. Last week we spent catching up on repairs for private and trade customers, as well as restorations for sale.
Well, the results JUST WENT ONLINE. The website has NEW PAGES, NEW PRODUCT and REDUCED PRICES. Amongst the website additions you will find new pages on Books, Inkwells and Dip Pens to name just a few. We've also put in place a Privacy Policy as well as an "About Us" page. At the same time, we've just kicked off another season on eBay LISTING 14 LOTS.

Our eBay Auctions
We've been finding it difficult to run auctions and to travel. Of course you have to be home to ship items when the auctions close, as some auction payments take extra time to arrive. So, if you've been wondering why we don't always have auctions running, now you know.

Inkwells & Inkstands
Some time ago we acquired a collection of largely porcelain inkwells and inkstands. Many of these are "Travelling Ware", that is they carry the name and sometimes the crest of towns and cities from where they were sold to tourists in the late 19th and early 20th centuary.

Pen Shows
We attend a number of pen shows each year (in 2002 we had tables at the Los Angeles, Melbourne, Washington, London and San Francisco Pen Shows).
